Subject: RE: Blatant Semi-Commercial Announcement From: katlaughing Date: 05 Sep 07 - 10:25 PM Hmmm, one of each of three thousand titles, let's see, that would cost me... less than a house! Only $ 54,000! Well, that's what I'd like to order, but...I suppose the kids will need shoes, the dog some food, and oh, some clothes for our backs, so I shall have to be happy drooling over your wonderful catalogue on your GREAT new site and see what goodies I can get. I only need another 200 CDs to fill my 400 CD changer! Congrats on the new site and the Folktrax additions, Dick. I'll have to get those children's CD titles again from Night Owl and send you a check with an order. kat |

Subject: RE: Blatant Semi-Commercial Announcement From: GUEST,bigJ Date: 06 Sep 07 - 04:45 AM Dick, According to the Folktrax site, they will be stopping selling as of the 30th September. Is it your intention to continue producing the CDs and will you be addibg to the catalogue despite Topic obtaining the rights in the UK? |

Subject: RE: Blatant Semi-Commercial Announcement From: dick greenhaus Date: 06 Sep 07 - 09:21 AM I'm trying to get in touch with Topic to discuss matters. At present, I'll be selling the titles I've listed, and hope to be able to expand the catalog. If I had to guess, I'd suspect that there's insufficient interest in this material to justify a Topic re-release of the whole catalog; I'm seeking an arrangement in which I can produce what they don't care to. |
