Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: Bill D Date: 28 Aug 07 - 10:20 PM yes...that one works in Opera....I guess Firefox figures out what is expected and strips all the extraneous symbols out. |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: bobad Date: 28 Aug 07 - 10:24 PM I once had a boat that behaved like that - in the bathtub. |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: EBarnacle Date: 28 Aug 07 - 10:54 PM It's an oldie but goody. Surfaces every few years. [Sorry about that. Not really] |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: GUEST,PMB Date: 29 Aug 07 - 08:20 AM This sounds like some of the stories Emma tells about the Admiral's boat trips. The location could be on the Severn, though the boat looks a bit big for the Stratford locks... |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: Jim Dixon Date: 29 Aug 07 - 11:03 AM It was discussed here back in Feb-Mar 2002: BS: The little tugboat that could. (Pics) Then in Feb 2005, some people tried to write a song about it: Song Challenge: The Unsinkable Tugboat Not much gets past us here! |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: Flash Company Date: 29 Aug 07 - 11:15 AM I wrote a song about this one the last time it appeared, Tug Boat Bill, based on Steamboat Bill. FC |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: Desert Dancer Date: 29 Aug 07 - 01:22 PM Darn, I hate dredging up old news, I mean, I hate to be the one to bring old news back up to the surface, I mean, there's nothing more embarrassing than barging in with old news, I mean, oops. ~ Becky in Tucson |

Subject: RE: BS: Tugboat under bridge From: JennyO Date: 29 Aug 07 - 11:06 PM Not to worry, Becky - I'm sure it's not old news to ALL of us. I hadn't seen it before. The first thread is over 5 years old - a few months before I joined Mudcat, and somehow I missed seeing the Song Challenge one, so I'm enjoying hearing about it and watching it for the FIRST time. I'm sure John hasn't seen it either - I'll show it to him tonight. He's into boats, so I know he'll like it. |
