But no sign of Derek and Dorothy Elliot who WERE "Yorkshire Garland". Are they still around?

Love Lynne

Just back from Saltburn where Steve and me did a YG workshop

Another to do at Whitby with John Greaves input this time

Yorkshire Garland was recording made by the Watersons I believe, just Google!

Yorkshire Relish was the performing name for Derek, Dorothy and Nadine Elliot some years ago

Chris Parkinson also now plays with them and Melody sings with D and D Elliot

I think Nadine now singing again too!

Derek comperes the Sunday evening sing in the Station formerly Tape and Spile in Whitby

Yorkshire Garland were an excellent quartet based in East Yorkshire , comprised of Dave Hill, Bill Sowerby, Norman Cross and Julie O'Boyle (Rowe).
As far as I know they only produced one album "Trotting to Larne"....it's well worth a listen.

Should be a great day.

I don't know if it's in the same part of the city, but in one of York's car parks I gather it's still technically legal to kill Scotsmen.
