Subject: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 29 Jul 07 - 11:54 AM I have disappeared from national data bases. At the last election they could not verify my address and was not allowed to vote except by uncounted provisional ballot, I fugured it was a fluke. But since, every brokerage I have contacted can not find me on any national data base but allowed me to trade by a default mechanism of presenting a drivers license...even banks can not verify my existence except by default searches used to see if people are connected to banking irregularities. And of course like a broken record - my website was erased as though I had never paid $4000 over 10 years. Yes even my SS # did not provide the bank with my name confirmation or identification. Next month I will find out if I am on any no fly lists. I am sure there is a rational explaination why corporations can't confirm my existence or history but it is what it is. So I continue to live in identification default mode . PS about 3 months ago I fortold the back story about the US attorney scandal being part of an election fraud scandal, NSA data base manipulation and disqualifying vast blocks of voters. This was explored in more depth on PBS Now show last night. hmmm is there a glitch in the NSA software? OO > *--* |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: katlaughing Date: 29 Jul 07 - 11:56 AM Reminds me of a new show on USA network which I just saw for the first time called Burn Notice. The show needs work, but the premise is a spy whose identity has been erased, no docs. no money, no records etc. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 29 Jul 07 - 12:08 PM I kid you not when I tell you the puzzled concern in the eyes of various adminstrators who can not do their normal procedures to open an account etc.. I get the feeling they are thinking identity theft |
|
Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Ebbie Date: 29 Jul 07 - 02:42 PM Identity theft doesn't seem an explanation to me. Isn't the whole premise of identity theft that there is someone else who is using your identity? In other words, there are now more of you, not fewer, or none. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: ard mhacha Date: 29 Jul 07 - 03:17 PM Consider the poor pensioner who is asked for identification in our local Post Office, he dosen`t drive or he hasn`t a Passport, and although he shows them his pensioners travel pass bearing his photo, this is not good enough. Why is it always a woman clerk who is so bloody bossy? I never have had this trouble with a male clerk. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Ebbie Date: 29 Jul 07 - 03:36 PM In the US any kind of government-issued card with photo is accepted for air or rail travel within the country. In other words, a Costco card won't do, even though it has a photo, but a city-issued sales tax exemption card with photo is accepted. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Bainbo Date: 29 Jul 07 - 03:41 PM Can't decide whether this sounds like Kafka or Stalin! I can see some advantages to not having the state nosing around in your affairs, but otherwise it sounds like a real bummer. Still, your Mudcat cookie is obvioulsy still working, so you're not yet a non-person. Won't they accept that as I.D.? |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Mrrzy Date: 29 Jul 07 - 10:50 PM This is either very scary, or very, very useful... |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 30 Jul 07 - 03:22 AM I am allowed to vote but it doesn't count. I am allowed to open accounts, its just that I do not appear in their system as a pre existing person by my SS # or address. They then do some default procedures, their computer makes several error beeps and a approval code 88058 allows them to proceed. It would be an interesting plot device for the man who has a consciousness that can bore through the multi universe barrier and assume his life in the nearest parallel universe whenever he is struck or nearly struck by lightning. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Ebbie Date: 30 Jul 07 - 12:29 PM I'm not sure what you mean in saying that your vote doesn't count. A 'questioned' ballot, i.e. one that was cast out of one's district or some other such anomaly does get counted. It is only in a different pile, so to speak. As long as your name is registered. Are you saying that your name has been physically purged? |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 01 Aug 07 - 04:32 PM "Given that this is Donuel, chances are that this is another made-up problem, based on something he read somewhere and misunderstood." no ted, this was not an editorial cartoon. Nor am I a liar. Besides, I probably read less than George W Bush. Liar: a person like Alberto Gonzales (a protoge' of Jon Lovitz) who is unwilling or incapable of telling the truth. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: GUEST, Ebbie Date: 01 Aug 07 - 06:28 PM Frankly, if I read as little as George W. Bush I wouldn't be mentioning it. But that's a different subject. Question: Has your name been removed from the voting register? |
|
Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 01 Aug 07 - 11:45 PM They found my wife's name but they could not find my name on the register. The usual way this happens is simple. The rolls of democratic voters is parsed to the local Republican party who then send a junk mail note of congratulations for registering to vote or some other premise. The envelope is marked POSTMASTER-DO NOT FORWARD. If it is sent to an old address, school, or in a soldier's case to his old training facility then the letter is returned. The Republican party collects all the returned letters and challenges each voter for commiting voter fraud with a phoney address. The voter is then removed from the roll. This ruse is an old school trick. Despite its long white beard it works better than ever today. What makes it so evil today is that many of the disqualified voters are in fact in Iraq fighting and dying for "democracy". |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: robomatic Date: 02 Aug 07 - 12:05 AM "Given that this is Donuel, chances are that this is another made-up problem, based on something he read somewhere and misunderstood. " I disagree, given that this Donuel, chances are that it is totally imaginary, which means that he is NOT lying, he is rather a figment of his own imagination. Good luck gittin' found, there, pard! |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Ebbie Date: 02 Aug 07 - 12:19 AM Donuel, I worked for years for an elections office. Your portrayal fits the reality very superficially. |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: JohnInKansas Date: 02 Aug 07 - 04:53 PM I'm not too sure I ever actually believed in "Donuel." He (it?) might just have been a figment of my imagination. Maybe I just woke up and it went away? I guess I never thought of it being a bother to my figments if I lost my imagination... (not that I ever had a lot of it.) Do you suppose it would come back if I went back to sleep? John |

Subject: RE: BS: I have disappeared From: Donuel Date: 03 Aug 07 - 10:28 AM I guess its like believing in ufo's John is virtual to me too while robo and ebb generally seem annoyed with my virtual presence. btw Today I tried to order Claude Bolling sheet music online but it would not process five times in a row because the site said that my name and email account (my contact information) did not match my address. |
