I like Ullapool, years ago myself, my dad and mum went to the Ceidhigh place (spelling mistake I know). and there we saw a man playing a moothie (mouthorgan) and my mother was wondering why there were sparks coming from his mouth, after he'd finsished his bit, that is when we saw that he had wired it up to the amp, so the electrcry was going directly to his mouthorgan.

God he could of being blown up or elctrcodied himself, then the artist that they booked for that came on (this was the Ullapool folk club) and did his set, however the memebers of the folk club well certain memebers of the folk club were standing at the bar and talking pretty loudly durning this guy's set.

very rude.

but apart from that Ullapool is great

That was the first thing that occurred to me too, Giok, but on going to the site I saw that they broadcast locally on FM in Lewis as well as from Ullapool.

Charles should have mentioned this in his post imo

Well yes, I didn't know that. I remember when Loch Broom FM started up, Strupag one of our MC members was involved in that.
