Could be the music used in 'The Beiderbecke Tapes' TV series on, I think, ITV some 20 odd years ago?

Could have been 'The Beiderbicke Trilogy' of which 'The Beiderbecke Tapes' was one and 'The Beiderbecke Affair' another. The music could have been in one, two, or all three of them.

Have tried searching a number of Beiderbecke related sites but without success!

It's just possible that the music in The Beiderbecke seies was by Frank Ricotti. He is in one of the books and is I believe a friend of Alan Plater.
