Drink and jam like there was no tomorrow... and there wasn't because there was no closing your eyes when you were high on Black Beauties. Days would all run together and I'd grind my teeth down to little nubs. Fortunately they all grew back. Life in the fast lane got way too fast real soon though, and I had to forsake you for something less intense, like bourbon. Totally different trip altogether, like the difference between a rollercoaster ride and ...bumper cars. - and know what a troll is before you don't feed it. |

While there are some threads where it would be inappropriate to go off topic, in my opinion, a "hello from a new member" thread isn't one of them. Also, Black Beauty, in my opinion, on Mudcat, a person who posts as a Guest isn't automatically a troll. Sinsull, if you are saying that GUEST 10 Dec 06 - 03:32 AM is a troll, for your information, I didn't think that post was trollish. I thought that Guest wrote a play on words post and ended with good advice for a new member to know what trolls are so that she wouldn't feed them. Maybe you can now say that Black Beauty has had further baptism as a new "Catter because her thread sparked some disagreement, but [as we say in my neighborhood]I'm not really 'pressed' about this {pressed=depressed, oppressed, or in any other manner weighted down about this; this subject is not that heavy duty-important-to me. But I felt like weighing in so that Charlotte/Black Beauty, and Terrier, and other new members could know that there are some members and guests here who don't mind if posters go off subject-particularly in "light weight" threads, And there are some members here that don't see every Guest post as a troll's post. If you're a Brit you may understand what those Swinton & Salford lads are talking about & they may think you know what they're talking about but damn if anyone else here does. Thread drifts do happen, don't fret about them though just ask em' to stay on topic if it's a bother. We're a fairly good bunch when it's music but some of the folks (very few mind you) down here below the line (in the BS zone) can get cranky & once & a while one may even get rude but most of the time if you didn't ask or deserve it someone will butt in & give their face a good slap for you & of course you can give em' a slap yourself if you've a mind to, mostly it's not worth the effort.
