I'm running a monthly mid-week lunchtime session at Lincoln Central Library for songwriters etc. It's about trying to use the library for something different. The venue is the room on the left as you enter the building. It's all free, even the tea and coffee!Details are as follows but if your interested in playing then drop me an email at stephen.jackson8@ntlworld.com

HIT " THE WRITE NOTE "
@ THE
LINCOLN CENTRAL LIBRARY ON

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3rd Noon - 2pm
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1st Noon - 2pm
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7th      Noon - 2pm

A lunch- time mid-week monthly acoustic music session for singer songwriters and musicians. An opportunity to try out something original or something traditional or contemporary on your acoustic instrument and get some feedback…

Open to both performers & people who just want to sit back, relax & listen. Why not combine it with a visit to the Library? Free tea and coffee too!

"THE WRITE NOTE" can accommodate around
6(8 maximum) musicians each performing 15/20 minute sets.
Contact host, Steve Jackson @ Stephen.jackson8@ntlworld.com if you'd like a slot.

Cyberspace's geographic reach is very large.

Which Lincoln?

Yes, it's important to be specific. I felt sure this would be in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Somehow Lincoln Central Library sounds so American.

Good look with your venture.

What a great idea! I love it!

Villan...I love Lincoln; I visited there a couple of years ago for a few days. It's a gorgeous town. I'm having trouble on the Google map placing the library in relation to the Castle and the Cathedral. Could you help me out, please?

The library is next to the Drill hall in Free School Lane if that helps. It's a hundred yards or so from the Waterside Centre in Central Lincoln.

Not really, Guest. I'm over here in Canada, with a memory of a big steep hill which is difficult to envision on a flat Google map. So, I'm just curious... steep hill, castle, cathedral, windmill...are those landmarks anywhere near the library?
