In paying tribute to the Canadian way of life on this 139th anniversary of Dominion, in true Canuck fashion, I'd like to bitch and wine about what a dumb move it was for Harper to reduce the GST (General Sales Tax) from 7 to 6%. Change all the cash registers and accounting and so on for 1%? Like, Government revenue doesn't grow on maple trees, right? What a hoser, eh? I say Shane should get him real drunk and get pictures of him with some beaver, right. And then, blackmail him to leave the GST alone. And get appointed to the Senate. Senator Shane... what will be your first effort in the Upper House? |
