Subject: RE: Incongruous juxtaposition (Morris / KKK) From: GUEST Date: 28 Jun 06 - 08:30 AM One of them is quoted: "I condemn all racists and anything to do with racism." Anything "to do with racism"? Then why display KKK symbols in a public gathering? "Where do you draw the line? You can offend anybody by doing anything. I'm sorry if I've offended anybody. I didn't go out to offend or be racist. That was the last thing on my mind." Oh REALLY? Carrying a noose and he "didn't mean" to offend?? BOLLOCKS. Further down in the article: "Wigton is the only place in Cumbria where the far-right British National Party has stood in council elections." You don't need to be Einstein to figure that one out. They made a statement, now they're trying to deny it, the same sort of cowardice that hides its face under a hood. It's like in those courtroom dramas where a lawyer says something absolutely obnoxious, nice and loud so everyone can hear, then smirks "I withdraw the statement". But you can't, can you? |
