Subject: BS: Bookcrossing From: Emma B Date: 26 Jun 06 - 05:50 AM Found a couple of references to http://www.bookcrossing.com/ buried in earlier lengthy threads so thought I would give it a life of its own! I "caught" a copy of Christy Brown's "Wild Grow the Lilies" at the Four Fools Folk Festival on Saturday and am now "hooked" on this great idea - I have been nagged for ages to get rid of some of my growing collection of read paperbacks and sending them on adventures of their own seems appropiate somehow Can't wait to get started! |

Subject: RE: BS: Bookcrossing From: Crystal Date: 26 Jun 06 - 06:07 AM I caught Ellis Peters "The Holy Thief" from my sister and released it at a ball in Edinburgh. It is still "travelling"! |

Subject: RE: BS: Bookcrossing From: John MacKenzie Date: 26 Jun 06 - 06:38 AM I buy all my books from charity shops, and I donate them back to the same. It's just one more way of recycling, but with the bonus of helping a charity too. Giok |
