Subject: Review: Art of the Solo Performer From: dwditty Date: 20 Jun 06 - 05:03 PM I can't say how many times I have picked up this little book since first reading it some years ago....it is full of tips for solo performing. Steve Rapson has done his homework, as I witness time and again many of the "Don'ts" he points out - as often as not committed by myself! Anyway, it is nicely laid out....very short sections (one or two paragraphs) which make it ideal to pick up, flip to a page, and read. I keep a copy in the car (right next to Zen Guitar, which I also like) for when I find myself with a few spare minutes. It is available at www.soloperformer.com. |
