Subject: Beryl Marriott From: danensis Date: 11 Jun 06 - 04:38 PM I went to the Ceilidh at "Festival of the Peak" on Friday night, and watching the keyboard player reminded me of Beryl Marriott trying to teach us to play folk keyboard in the upper room at the Friary in Beverley. Is she still going strong? As someone said in the Dave Brady thread, often you only think about these people when they're gone. John |

I remember one time going out on the Helga Maria at Whitby with a crowd including Beryl. No idea if she's still on the go, but this will take the thread back to the top of the list. Quack!
