Subject: Origin: banks of the Dee - (morris) From: pavane Date: 05 Jun 06 - 03:51 AM Playing through some abc files created by the late Bruce Olson, I came across one called Largolee, apparently published in 1772. This seems to me to be the same tune as the one used for Banks of the Dee. Is this association one which is already known? |

Sounds close to what you have dug up. It's a lovely tune - although I think the original Langolee may have been more up tempo than the slower Banks. |
