Being a newbie round these parts, I don't know if there are any fans of the band here. I'll be visiting friends in Atlanta, and am thinking about going to their show at Philips Arena (I think it is called).

Has anyone ever been to that arena, and what is it like for shows with a lot of acoustic music?

Also, any other fans out there? I love the new Neil Young album.

The Dixie Chicks are there October 17, so the arena has gotta be pro for sound.

I saw CSNY a couple of years ago in an indoor arena. They sounded great!

Sound reinforcement technology has advanced to the point where the pros can "tune" their systems to sound good in any space.

Cheers,
Michael

Well, I have to decide between going to see them, and going to see the Dixie Chicks. I have seen CSN&Y too, but still really want to go hear the new stuff.

But then, I've never seen the Chicks.

Dilemma bad.

I wish. I have been a fan for years. Seen many videos, but man oh man, I would love to see them in live performance.
