Seamus Kennedy suggested that folks here would have some good suggestions, so here goes...

I'm traveling to Ireland July 17 through 31, and am into original acoustic and pop music.

I also like Trad. Irish music, but you can't hardly walk over there without stumbling into that :-)

Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions for venues to hit.

I'll definitely be in Dublin a few days, and know of:
The Loft (Cork)
Whelans (Dublin, 50/50 in my three visits)
Eamon Dorans (Dublin, that side-loft area for 20 listeners is good)
[mumble-mumble-gob] (Galway)*

* The name appeared in print only in Irish, but I was told by staff that it translated to "Slap in the mouth"

I appreciate any suggestions!
