Subject: Lyr Req: Sarah From: Dipsodeb Date: 16 May 03 - 05:35 PM Hiya does anyone know the lyrics to a song called "Sarah" I brought a single by that name in the late seventies, although it was second hand so could be from much earlier. It was a guy singing and I can only remember a couple of verses and the chorus. If any one can help I would be really grateful, it's one of those tunes you can't get out of your head. Met her at a dance hall looking so sweet from the stars on her make-up to the bows on her feet. We danced until midnight then she went home just me and Sarah left all alone. ch Sarah my, Sarah my, Sarah my, love it's you i depend on like the light from above. Well morning came quickly and Sarah had left leaving me lonesome with the tears on my chest, how long can one night last with too much in love till the sun breaks the grey clouds of the heavens above. |
