If you want to sound MORE LIKE the Carter Family, they only used the I IV V chords. so the last line would be And God's own son (A) will be (E) the leading one At that me(B7)eting in the air (E) Note; If you want to play the more complicated chords and have a trio of voices, try it with one singing Meeting, next Bill Bailey, and third Just Because. When we give our Carter Family workshops we do this as a demo. |

Do you have a pamphlet or flyer with info on them? When you sing that medley with Bill Bailey and Just Because... are you doing it sort of like row row row your boat.... as a round... or just a regular medley.. I think that sounds so neat.. and I do all those songs...but never put them together.. Thanks so much from Mary |
