Subject: Lyr Req: Missing verse 'The King and I' by Kohler From: GUEST,Roger in Baltimore Date: 23 Apr 03 - 07:37 AM I once heard Fred Kohler sing "The King and I" in concert. He included a verse about "Woody Guthre" that is not in the recorded version. Anyone know the verse? Opening line of the song is: "I saw Elvis Presley and Amelia Earhart at the airport late last night". Roger in Baltimore |

Subject: Lyr Add: THE KING AND I (Fred Koller) From: MMario Date: 23 Apr 03 - 01:51 PM These are the only lyrics I could find:
I saw Elvis Presley and Amelia Earhart at the airport just last night.
CHORUS: Oh me, oh my, there we were,
I saw Elvis Presley and John Belushi hitchhiking down the avenue.
I saw Elvis at the Strike and Spare, bowling a 300 game.
It was Elvis Presley and Yul Brynner and Yul said he belonged in this song, |
