THE FOLK BOAT kicks of the fundraising programme for the Plymouth folk Festival, which also includes various concerts at Plymouth Dome, a beautiful glass-walled venue overlooking the sea. (The boat costs an absolute fortune to hire so we are banking on a lot of support for this event. ) PLEASE, if you are free and anywhere near Plymouth come and give it a go. We must sell every ticket. We have around 70.


SAT MAY 17

Departing from Phoenix Wharf, Barbican, Plymouth, Devon at 6.30 pm returning at 10.30pm

Tickets £8.

Live music (superb bluegrass outfit, plus trad. English) plus an open mic, the chance for the hardier folkies to sing on deck and a traditional stop for fish & chip in Calstock. (Not included in ticket price.)

Proceeds to Plymouth Folk Festival.
