Feasgar math a Fhelipa
Some time ago you aked me about baigh na brilinn ann s an Beinn a' Bhaghla. Any way Ive just been home on hoilday and did some asking, I have not been able to find anymore about Benbecula, but their is a tale about Loch Eiynort which was the historical capital of South Uist. and is not a million miles away fron the ancient stronghold of Clann Mac Ic' Ailean (ClanRanald) The story talks about the Brilinn of ClanRanald sailing out onto the open seas at times of need. As for what it looks like a Brilinn is the crest of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

Slan leat
