Subject: Obit: Brad Dexter - RIP From: Fiolar Date: 15 Dec 02 - 09:31 AM The death has occurred of the veteran actor Brad Dexter aged 85. Now mainly remembered as Harry Luck in the 1960 film "The Magnificent Seven" he also had roles in such movies as "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950); "Von Ryan's Express" (1965) and "Blindfold" (1966) among others. He produced "The Naked Runner" in 1967 which starred Frank Sinatra. He was married to the late Peggy Lee for a short while. It used to be the joke on quiz nights that Brad was the only member of The Magnificent Seven that no one could remember. Fondly remembered now. |

Subject: RE: Obit: Brad Dexter - RIP From: Wesley S Date: 16 Dec 02 - 11:27 AM I disagree Fiolar - I also can't remember the name of the young Mexican kid in "The Magnificant Seven" either. Let me see - Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn, Charles Bronsen, Brad Dexter and the Mexican Kid. |
