Est Sept 2001 in Harpenden , Herts Eng at the Silver Cup, moved to The Comfort Hotel in St. Albans in March 2002.
Meets Fridays when in season.
Programme for 2003 full, with a strong line-up of top artistes.
Next season starts January 24th 2003 with Johnny Collins meeting up with BEN CAMPBELL since they last met in Singapore.
See our full-page advert in the Unicorn and Folk London magazines.
Future guests include Andy Irvine, Coope, Boyes and Simpson, Keith Donnelly, Steve Tilston, Artisan, Roy Bailey, Jeremy Taylor, Les Barker and Martin Carthy.

St. Albans Folk Song Club, is not as young as The Friendly Earth Acoustic Club, at the Sportsman, Croxley Green, nr. Rickmansworth, UK, third time is next Weds. 11th Dec. Newport West and young guns of folk Piers and Rob, good beer and venue, and very young and youg indeed.

bet mine is the youngest in terms of age - with six regulars under 30 (including one at 11 playing dulcimer, one at 12 about to embark on mumming, and one at four months totally obsessed with piano accordians and determined to join in on the choruses.....)

Even including Dave James into our average age stats, we may still have a record.....

dam it, done it again, we've got Emma Heath on the 12th..... great minds think alike and all that (and people running events on a saturday never seen to differ...)

For anyone who wants to know, we've got Tom and Barbara Brown on the 18th january, Nick Hennessey on the 15 feb, Brian Peters on the 15th march, Emma Heath 12th April, Notts Alliance 10th may and I've got designs on booking someone for the 7th June, but haven't yet. The Alcester and Arden festival is on the weekend on the summer solsitce. (21st June)
