Subject: Anything going on in Banbury tonight? From: Oaklet Date: 18 Nov 02 - 01:09 PM Should be better prepared but me and new mate Nick - a demon fiddler (allegidly9 and fan of strong lager are either going to nick a car and go ram-raiding in Banbury. Or we could go and find some music in the town or surrounding areas in my Ferarri. Can anyone recommend anything? Hope you can help. |

Subject: RE: Anything going on in Banbury tonight? From: Skipjack K8 Date: 18 Nov 02 - 03:36 PM Oakley thanks you, Monsieur Rouge, but he has managed to fry his laptop, and batter his connection to the wall socket. He interrupted my mending of an unusual puncture in the dim blue light of Hessle Police Sation to garner my assistance, which has been my pleasure now I have regained the South Bank. Very Evenin' All. I have equipped him with the electric telephone numbers of both Adderbury and Warwick, as a Plan B, and sent him forth into the foggy night, probably for a spot of ram-raiding en route. I worry about the absence of his calming influence on Mrs Drinkall, not to mention the last time Lodger Frank was 'looking after' the heifers. Oh God. He'll miss the baleful sounds of the foghorns. It's as thick as guts tonight. |

Subject: RE: Anything going on in Banbury tonight? From: GUEST,Oakley Date: 19 Nov 02 - 01:32 PM Made it to the Bell for a pleasant evening of gentle music and melodeonondons. I was doubtful about anyone there ever having heard of this place, so tried the "Mr Red" gambit with Jeremy - the open flied bazooki-ist. They know of a bloke who dresses all in red, who is a luminary at the Warwick folk club but as two of the sessioneers pointed - out "but he don't never cum down 'ere". If they ever get electricity in Adderbury and someone discovers the net, I think that Adderbury will acheive notoriety on a Hullian9 scale. Until then, I think it best to leave them alone. A good night all and thanks to the blond woman for the loan of Frank and sorry for pointing out that Mexborough is a vilage near Doncaster, not Cremona. |
