Subject: HELP! Robert Johnson (the session man) From: CraigS Date: 05 Nov 02 - 02:59 PM There is a great electric session guitarist called Robert Johnson, famous for the waka-waka guitar on The Theme From Shaft among other things. I have two vinyl albums of his work, around twenty years old. OK, it's rock, not folk, but I like it! The problem is searching for info about him. I can't seem to find a search engine which will filter out Robert Johnson the blues singer, Robert Johnson the classical composer/arranger, Robert Johnson the opera singer, and Robert Johnson the plumber from Carson CA. I'd like to know if he's made any more records, and if any are available on CD, but I can't even find a reference to him right now. Any help appreciated. |
