I'm working in Birmingham UK for 5 days - Wed to Sun at the end of November and would like to find some sessions to visit. They could also be song sessions - I do both! Or are there any Brummie Mudcatters who fancy a tune.

Please help to stop me going nuts in my hotel room!

Martin

look on cresby.com but for Birmingham surf from there to Bob Taberner's site or Terry Binnies site for Redditch - the FC there is Sat night which I doubt competes with any session and they have more singers' nights than guests.

Check out my site for sessions on the south side of Brum - like Hanbury/Severn Stoke (Sun). Also on there are a couple in Halesowen which I think are more singarounds. Ring the contact numbers. There are FC's on Fri and Sun listed on my site and some e-mail and websites and even maps!!! But I don't list B'ham centre in completeness.

The Irish Club in Digbeth probably has a session. The Crown in Digbeth (may be alt Mon) has a session which alternates with Lichfield - ring the pub.

About 10 years ago (or more) there used to be sessions in a pub called The Big Bull's Head opposite the Victoria Coach station in Digbeth (Not too far from New Street Train Station) and also in a pub called the Observatory in Houndsworth (I think), but I'm not sure if either session (or either pub) is still going.
