Not quite prepared for 21st century "graphitti" I literlally laughed out loud in a traditional Irish Pub's rest room, going by the name of "The Brogue" in Great falls, Virginia , when facing the wall above the urinal I was confronted with..... " Where are all the flying cars. We were promised flying cars"

Ahh, the future ain't what it used to be.

Seen in the gents of the "East India Arms" Fenchurch St., London EC3 - some years ago (NB A Youngs Pub before real ale was fashionable)

"We pipe this straight to Watney's"

and underneath

" Yes, but they have to dilute it first"

Seen more recently in the Gent's of the Council Offices at Ystrad Mynach

" Councillor XXXXX is living proof that North Walians F*** Sheep"

Gareth

Two more favorite anti-Nixon bumperstickers from my youth:

Circumsize Nixon - Let's see the end of that Dick!

Impeach the Cox-Sacker!

there were flying cars back in the 50's..the inventor lived right on my street in Longview, WA. He had detachable wings. They really worked. I saw on in an aviation exhibit, I think at Sea-Tac WA. Probably a google search would show it.

on the washroom wall of Le Hibou coffeehouse in Ottawa c 1972:

"Ramblin' Jack could be 105 for all I know!"

Clearly a grievous understatement!

In a lot of Irish restaurants minute refers to size rather than cooking time !

A bit of thread drift but on RTE (Irish) radio yesterday a presenter talking about a helicopter crash in Co Kerry actually said - The fog was so thick and the visibility was so poor that none of the eye-witnesses saw anything.
