" Where are all the flying cars. We were promised flying cars" Ahh, the future ain't what it used to be. |

Subject: RE: BS: Avoid Hard Drugs From: GUEST,mg Date: 29 Aug 02 - 10:07 PM there were flying cars back in the 50's..the inventor lived right on my street in Longview, WA. He had detachable wings. They really worked. I saw on in an aviation exhibit, I think at Sea-Tac WA. Probably a google search would show it. mg |

Subject: RE: BS: Avoid Hard Drugs From: Declan Date: 30 Aug 02 - 10:14 AM In a lot of Irish restaurants minute refers to size rather than cooking time ! A bit of thread drift but on RTE (Irish) radio yesterday a presenter talking about a helicopter crash in Co Kerry actually said - The fog was so thick and the visibility was so poor that none of the eye-witnesses saw anything. |
