I've been known to sing Dick Dauntless' song ("I shipped d'yer see in a revenue sloop" - Ruddigore) at folk events and no-one has guessed the origin. I've also set WSG's bab ballad "The Yarn of the Nancy Bell" to music and that goes down pretty well. |
