DSS just pulled their bluegrass channel from the radio package and tied it to one of their high end packages. I for one am upset as all I bought from them was the radio package just so I could listen to the bluegrass. They seem to be caught up in the popularity wave from O Brother and see this as a way to capitalize on the phenomenon. Any one else caught in this trap?

XM Radio appears to be the answer for me. Any feedback? gm

Those rat bastards...must have just happened as I was listening to the Bluegrass channel not very long ago for free. I'm going to call right now and complain...will cancel the whole thing if they take the classical and jazz and blues channels as well. Yet one more golden oldies from the 70's/80's/90's I dont need!

xm radio has a bluegrass/"americana"/acoustic/folk channel hosted by one of the strawberry music fest radio personalities...i think it is called something station--or something crossing--with a rail road sort of a theme to it...can't find it right now...looking' on the diretc tv web site--there was a sample loop pn DTV last time i checked...

Hi guichero, consider buying a Worldspace radio (www.worldspace.com)
also see the thread Folk Music on the Radio.
