Is Eastern time the same as Mudcat time, i.e. 3pm with you will be 8pm here in the UK?

If you go to our webpage at www.wfdu.fm you will see a link to a "World Time Zone" clock that will show you the time from anywhere in the world.

Actually the interview will air at 5pm Eastern time, but I hope you can tune in for the whole show!

Are you have trouble HEARING the station online? During the weekdays we are off the air from 3:45pm to 1:15am. On weekends we are on 24 hours.

I've tried it many times at different times of day.

Perhaps someone here in Mudcat land might be able to shed some light on what is happening to Noreen. This is the first I've heard of such a problem. We have had instances where a server has gone down and people can't connect to the streaming, but I can't recall anyone having problems logging onto the sight.

Just curious - are you using Netscape?

Found that I can get through using aol, but not with Internet Explorer. Strange, never had the problem with anything else before.

We've just got back from a great weekend festival of world music at Thoresby Hall, organised by Cathy Lesurf, where my 10-year-old daughter was spoilt rotten by Dave Swarbrick, Cathy Lesurf and others. Cathy (who organised it all) did a fine set herself, Swarb was in great form as was Kevin Dempsey who as usual played with him (the two were at one time known collectively as Whippersnapper).

Next year this festival is likely to be at midsummer weekend. It's a brilliant one for youngsters - quite small, but with loads for them to do. And cheap! Tickets this year were £15 (£2 for children) plus camping fee.

Noreen, are you going to Cropredy?

Fionn, that sounds lovely- I've not heard of it before. Will it be on again next year, and how can I find out more? Won't get to Cropredy this year, tho I would love to, of course. Why, will you be there this year??

Yes, that festival is likely to be on again next year, as this year's was considered a great success. As I said, they're looking at 20-22 June. If you want to be kept in touch, PM me and I'll send Cathy's email. (Or send me yours and I'll pass it on.)

I'm going to Cropredy, but not sure whether I'll enjoy it - it seems to have got bigger and bigger, or at any rate longer and longer, since I was a regular.
