They were singing Come Write Me Down at a friend's wedding.

Oh! Here I thought this was a thread for nattering people about updating any outdated photos, and about encouraging those without any pics to send 'em in...

Is my guilt showing? *sheepish grin*

The link works most of the time, but I think members' pictures are only available through shorty, not the other servers, so if shorty is struggling, the link doesn't work.
Keep trying, and don't worry, there isn't one of me there, so there's no need to be frightened.

D@mn me, that was a surprise! It was Johnny Collins and Jim Mageean's version of "Poor Old Man", or "The Dead Horse" as the Mudcat prefers to call it, from their "Live at Herga" album, that

a) perplexed me for years with its line of "He's as dead as a nail in a lamproom door"

b)got my first thread about same started on The Mudcat

c) ended up with me deciding that, occasional troll GUEST aside, you were a fine bunch of people to be e'ing with, as it were.

Nice to know he's still around.

One thing. He was fairly noisy when we saw them at Llantrisant, donkeys years ago, he must be bl**dy loud by now!

Johnny is in fine form.

He demonstrated another of his many talents at the wedding - he and his wife provided all the very fine food.
The devilled eggs were especially popular.
