Hi everyone

I'm having a web site built for the band and I'm now on to the bit where you have to think of key words that will help your site to be recognised by the search engines. So far the key words I've come up with are acoustic, folk, guitar, traditional, music and now I've reached a blank. Please help, I would like to get this launched before our first festival at Wakefield this year. If I sound like I don't know anything you'd be right!

Cheers

Carole - OUTSIDER

If you play any festival then put the name of the festival in as well.

You could also list the different instruments played, as well as the types of music, i.e. Celtic, Scottish, Irish, English, American, South American, reggae, etc. (you get the idea:-) You might also list the region that you are in, plus if you have any CD's include their names as well as the names of songs on them or on any tapes you may have. And, your own band name as well as its members' names. Do you have any reviews? You could also put the names of the reviewers or their publications in, though you'd want to be sure to have the reviews on your website, or at least quotes from them.

Good luck,

kat

Thanks for those suggestions, I wouldn't have come up with half that lot.
