Subject: Hollow Shore weekender From: Dead Horse Date: 27 May 02 - 02:16 PM This weekend 30th-4th. Folk Ale. Loadsa beer. Loadsa singin. Bugger the weather, get down to Faversham in Kent UK. Ask for directions to Shipwrights Arms, Hollow Shore. Camping with showers £5. Free entry to music, kids activities, cannon & sword displays, performance poetry etc. |

Stagger back to camper. Sat morn. Have several brain pills in vain attempt to cure hangover, say "sod it" and decide to stay drunk. Badger all and sundry to start another song session. At noon(ish) various artistes will set up and play loadsa folky stuff. Drink more beer, find out I'm on next. Fall over in drunken stupor. Arise again in time for more sessions & beer untill midnight(ish) Sun: More of the same. Mon:More of the same. Tue:More of the same. Was that rough enough? See "Whats On" for who is guesting. Vectis, look after old man, us good'ns is hard to find;-) Have put Travelling Folk Ale in diary. |
