Subject: RE: Lyr Req: a Little town called Tonder From: Susanne (skw) Date: 22 Mar 02 - 12:56 PM To the best of my knowledge it hasn't been recorded anywhere, certainly not by Iain MacKintosh. I taped it live (please don't tell Carsten, anyone!) from Eric at the Tonder Visemollen. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: a Little town called Tonder From: Jock Morris Date: 23 Mar 02 - 06:00 AM Iain does do another song about Tonder. All I can remember is the line that goes: "Christmas comes twice a year in Tonder, there's the big one then the wee one in December." Unfortunately I don't think that it has been recorded either:-( Scott |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: a Little town called Tonder From: Susanne (skw) Date: 23 Mar 02 - 03:22 PM Jock, I don't think so either. But if you're desperate I might be able to drag the words from some corner of my tape rack ... |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: a Little town called Tonder From: Jock Morris Date: 23 Mar 02 - 09:44 PM What I'd like is to keep hearing Iain sing it for many years to come; unfortunately he doesn't gig very often these days and he is looking rather old and frail. Mind you, he is still a tremendous performer when he does gig. Scott |
