I am working in Grangemouth , Glasgow , Motherwell and Inverness in the coming week. March 12th to march 15th. I know it's late (I have only been told tonight). Anyone know of any clubs in these area's that I could attend whilst up there?

Spot.

Try the Traditional Music Asssociation Scotland (TMSA) website at www.tmsa.demon.co.uk/TMListings.htm for a list of clubs and known events. If you can make it across to Livingston, Dougie McLean's on at the Howden Centre on the Weds evening (13th) Tattie B

Dunfermline folk club meets ona Wednesday evening; only 12 miles from Grangemouth. Stirling folk club meets on a Monday night in the Terraces Hotel. Falkirk folk club I think meets on a Thursday night. All of these are reasonably close to Grangemouth.

Where are you going to be on which days?

The Monday night folk session in Dundee has departed from The WestPort bar after many years and now resides happily in its new home 'Mickey Coyles' on the Old Hawkhill.

Blackfriars Music Edinburgh, magazine (if they still publish) and website is a good reference. Filter threads back a year, I started a thread on Inverness area.
