Subject: Solas' 'Edge' - recorded where? From: Susan-Marie Date: 08 Mar 02 - 05:17 PM Just saw a Solas concert and they mentioned they recorded their last album (Edge of Silence) in upstate New York. Can anyone who has the CD tell me where in upstate NY (town or studio)? The concert had a lot of energy and good playing, but for me the best parts were their older tunes, not the new non-traditional ones. Seamus Eagan has taken up guitar - only played flute twice for the whole concert. |

I would argue that Upstate New York doesn;t begin until you've traveled down the northside of the Catskills. Or maybe even the Mohawk River. Great studio tho'! Don. |
