Subject: RE: Help! Scot folk shows(Dundee) 2/27-3/7 From: GUEST,Billy Date: 29 Jan 02 - 11:32 PM Thanks to all. It gives me a good start. Midchuck, the verse says the Girl was from Dundee, but is unspecific about where the ape was from or the location of the incident, so it would be illogical to state that the ape was in a tree in Dundee. |

Subject: RE: Help! Scot folk shows(Dundee) 2/27-3/7 From: Midchuck Date: 01 Feb 02 - 12:34 PM Billy's right, now that I think about it. But that was the first association I made. I can't believe there's anyone who doesn't know it... He resembled that scion of the man from Dundee, all chin and no forehead... - Robert A. Heinlein, Glory Road (RAH must have read the bowdlerized version.) P. |
