It is coming to our new branch of the CCE (Amairgin the Gael, Newport) music association in Newport on Thursday 21 February.

Tickets cost £7 and because it's a small venue it is tickets only. If you would like to come along, pm me and I can give you the contact details of my friends who are dealing with the tickets. It will be held at the Irish Club, Commercial Street, Pill, Newport, South Wales. It starts at 8pm.

The concert consists of Fleadh Cheoil Na Eireann winners from this years All Ireland competition.

For a number of years the Comhaltas came to Port Talbot the standard of musicianship from the young performers was outstanding.

Sadly, the organisers of the local event retired in one way or another and there was nobody to take up the reins.

I wish the new venture every success and hope that it will continue for many years.

I know a couple of the fellas who ran the Port Talbot group. We are really looking forward to the tour and our other events.
