Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Tennessee Nineteen Fortynine From: ddw Date: 23 Jan 02 - 12:09 AM Carl, Who sang it? That might help in the search for it. Is it a country song? If so, you might check in Cowpie, which is about the best source I know for country lyrics and chords. If it's something else, let us know and we'll see what we can do about helping you track it down. cheers, david |

Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Tennessee Nineteen Fortynine From: Stewie Date: 23 Jan 02 - 02:30 AM I can't help with chords, but it is a Pete Goble song. He recorded it on a lovely album of the same title with Bill Emerson [Webco WLPS 0123]. I think it has been recorded also by Larry Sparks. I felt sure I had posted the lyrics to the forum in response to an earlier request, but I can't find them. The song was inspired by a painting 'Tennessee 1949' by David Knowlton III. --Stewie. |
