Subject: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: Abuwood Date: 22 Jan 02 - 03:37 AM The crowd are having a weekend together here at the end of February. There is a performance on Friday 23rd February at the Eagle Cookley, (see me for tickets) or you may catch us if you ride the Severn Valley Railway on Saturday from Kidderminster 1pm returning on the last train from Bridgnorth. You know that lot, they sing anywhere! The evening will be in The Railway Belle for a sing round but not a performance after a day on the beer:-) http://members.tripod.co.uk/shellbackchorus/index.html |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: alanww Date: 22 Jan 02 - 04:49 AM Are you implying that we may be a little inebriated by the evening? Surely not! Come fill up your glasses and let us be merry ... |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: JudeL Date: 22 Jan 02 - 06:11 AM That clashes with Sidmouth MBS weekend - Alan does this mean you're not coming to Sidmouth? Jude |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: BretonCap Date: 22 Jan 02 - 08:53 AM Jude and Alan, I've already passed on this one as I will be wearing my other Tee Shirt in Sidmouth. See you there, Dave |

Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: Herga Kitty Date: 22 Jan 02 - 05:10 PM Jude Alanww coughed a while ago to not making the MBS reunion, on the grounds that he'd be Shellbacking in Kidderminster. I think I need lessons from Hermione Granger in how to be in the Middle Bar, Kidderminster and Haddenham at the same time.... |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: JudeL Date: 23 Jan 02 - 04:38 AM Liz & Kitty if you're coming to Sidmouth, Paul & I are having another post-session party just up the road from the Anchor, love to see you there. Jude |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: Gervase Date: 23 Jan 02 - 04:47 AM Alan, your name will go in the book for conduct unbecoming a loon in a yellow shirt. There'll certainly have to be a ne fines system involving ex parte judgements from the Bench! |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: Liz the Squeak Date: 23 Jan 02 - 09:23 PM I've never owned a yellow shirt, am I exempt? LTS |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: alanww Date: 24 Jan 02 - 05:52 AM Why do I kept being picked on? Last year in the Middle Bar I was the only one to have a specific individual fine (ie 50p for Alan's blue toenails - and I thought they were rather fetching too). Boo, hoo! I think I shall cry ...! "I wiped the tears from out my eyes, Lowlands awaaaaaay ... " |
Subject: RE: Shellback Chorus in Kidderminster From: JudeL Date: 24 Jan 02 - 11:09 AM No, you're not thew only one to get singled out. Allie was mentioned too as in "Ogling Allie's valley" In fact come to think of it she got picked on twice since there was also that whole song written and sung "there's always Allie's chest" |
