We just got hired to teach at the Lark in the Morning music camp this summer and will be driving from Seattle to Mendocino with a bunch of instruments in the car. We'd like to line up some gigs along the way if we can. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Some details:

We will be travelling during the week, so we are looking for unusual bookings. We will have a Sunday or a Thursday in northern California or southern Oregon, and a Monday or a Wednesday in Central Oregon or Portland. This is all somewhat flexible.

We won't play anywhere with cigarette smoke.

We love house concerts.

We do mostly European traditional music with hurdy-gurdy, cittern, nyckelharpa, etc.

We have CDs, professional photos, nice flyers, etc.

The band is called Telynor. Here are links for the web site or email .

Thanks,
John Peekstok

If you are willing to dip down a little lower in the state San Luis Obispo has a thriving Folk Music Society...they usually set up a 3-night run, different venues in the county, all very well attended. The one I go to in the north end of the county is held at a local winery that has a separate room for concerts with good acoustics. Email me John, if you want details...
