Subject: R. Crusoe Theme, Folk Roots? From: GUEST,Wotcha Date: 10 Jan 02 - 11:42 PM Just stumbled across a memory from 1960s UK TV and the theme for "The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe," composed by Robert Mellin and Gian-Piero Reverberi. The tune has a nice rolling (chantey-like?)rhythm: probably just a waltz though. Robinson Crusoe Site Just wondering if anyone has found any folk connections to the melody, or added words to it. Cheers, Maybe see ya'll in NYC on 19 Jan... Brian |

Eat your heart out, Proust - the Mudcat beats any madeleine! |
