Subject: BSeed& Guy Wolff adventures in S.F. From: Guy Wolff Date: 08 Jan 02 - 08:28 PM Ok well its happened again.. I show up in a far away place and have the time of my life with another Mudcatter,, . Putting him out to dangers and car breakdowns on and around a San Fransico bridge.. I think his car over heated 4 times on the way to finding me(ALL the way from Berkley to Mill Valley( An $80.00 taxi ride if I had to do it) Charles and I had a great lunch . He needed something after standing around in the down pore on the bridge. Ahh guilt the gift that keeps on giving.. Anyway we limped back to the car parts store got a new radiator cap Met a wonderfull teller ( I dont get out much) and then onto the "Fith String"a great banjo store (in Berkley I think.).. Then onto Sally 's houes to play Banjo Guitar and Saly's lovely autoharp.. We played till 7;30 and then Sally lent us her brand new Out Back and Charles drove me to the airport down south past SF. It was a wonderful time and next time I think I'll try to Learn how to use public transport. My huge thanks to Charles for the adventure and great music and to Sally for the great music and nice new warm car.. ( Red and Shiny) My best to all here who remember me and to the newer members I cant over say how much fun it is to meet mudcatters when you can find them.. Yours Guy Wolff

Subject: RE: BSeed& Guy Wolff adventures in S.F. From: Jeri Date: 08 Jan 02 - 08:31 PM Guy, thanks for telling us. I miss BSeed around this place. And was this THE Sally? I'd wondered how she was doing. Sounds like she's just fine. |
Subject: RE: BSeed& Guy Wolff adventures in S.F. From: catspaw49 Date: 08 Jan 02 - 09:35 PM Jeri just said it. Guy, we love to hear about your trips and I only wish you were around here more often yourself. As for ol' Seed, no one misses the old fart more than I do. Some great times here in the past and now he only pops in so very rarely....... And Jeri, I figure from the sound of things, that has got to be THE Sally and it's good to know she is more than alive and seemingly "kickin'" to boot! Spaw |
Subject: RE: BSeed& Guy Wolff adventures in S.F. From: Guy Wolff Date: 08 Jan 02 - 09:44 PM Oh yah she was kicking up a storme.. She plays the autoharp just beautifulliy. I am going to try and see them at the end of jan. or early Feb since I'm doing a demo at the SAn Fransico gift show.. I think they have a get together on the monday.. I want more time at the Fith String as well . They had one of those new Deolian National copieis ( Newvo- National) . Charles is a very kindly sort of man that I alsways look up to ..
