Subject: Ed Daigle From: curmudgeon Date: 04 Jan 02 - 09:46 AM January 1st saw the passing of Ed Daigle, lifelong friend of folk music and folk musicians. Fiddler, singer, guitarist, and formerly proprietor of The Fiddler's Fix in Portsmouth NH, Ed will be well remembered by his many friends in the NH Seacoast area and elsewhere. His shop was a hangout for musicians in the region and many others passing through. He was a regular at the Press Room Friday night sessions in the earliest years. And even if you didn't know him, please raise a glass or sing a song in his memory -- Tom |
