John is a friend of Barry Finn and Kendall Morse. They may be able to help. He is a New England Mudcatter who doesn't post often but does play the banjo. Puts him on my "A" list automatically.

To be more specific, he's a singer & banjo player originally from Scotland, lives in Farmington, NH and is editor of the Dover-Rochester (NH) Times -- so even if he hasn't the time to check this thread out, GuestJP may be able to contact him there.

Linn

Who is JP? Jack Pot? Jaunciced person? Jodh Pur? Joint parent? Judas Priest? Juni Per? Juris Prudence? One needs to know these things before 'fessing up to anything, round these parts, although if you are from the mafia or the IRS, Bat Goddess up there has done for me. Thanks a bunch, Bat.
Yours in extreme caution,
J.N.

To Jack Pot:
There was a brief thread called Searching for Robin Hall info back on Nov. 19/20 of 1998. There are 10,000 smart-arses on this site could give it a blue clicky link, but no me.

I am Jane Palmer and I live in Cambridge England and knew Robin in the early 70s.

I always meant to keep in touch but you know how these things are and then when I knew he was dead and the circumstances was very sad - just trying to fit the picture together - JP

Hi Jane:
There is nobody better than Scout to talk to about Robin. Call him at 0141-334-3224 (in Glasgow). Mention my name: if he doesn't hang up immediately, he will talk for ages on your nickel.
John Nolan
