Subject: Songs we can ALL sing.l From: The Shambles Date: 17 Jul 99 - 04:30 PM We seem to be having our fair share of discussion about songs that represent a particular narrow view and devide us. It would appear to me that these songs will not last as long as the ones that unite us, the songs that we can ALL sing. Any suggestions, as to songs that would do that? |

Subject: RE: Songs we can ALL sing.l From: Llanfair Date: 17 Jul 99 - 06:01 PM To unite us we need either songs we can all sing or learn easily, like "Man You Don't Meet Every Day", or "Ale Glorious Ale" and can each add our individual bits, or a good ballad, with gory bits that everyone can listen to and enjoy, like "Long Lankin" or "Tam Lin" Hwyl, Bron. P.S. or someone could write one, "Close friends I have never met, meet tonight on the internet" stuff like that. |
