Subject: Let me live till I'm too old to die young From: bmillard@direct.ca Date: 06 May 99 - 06:17 PM I am trying to find the words to this and one other song This one has a line in it (and perhaps the title as well that says "Oh Lord, Let me live till I am too old to die young". It is Country (I think). The other song my Mother used to sing when I was a child. It has a line in it that goes
Darling, take my hand and let’s pretend That, unfortunately, is all I know of it. It is Second World War song...the one singing is a soldier going to the front. If you know the words, or if you can find a site where they are, please email me at bmillard@direct.ca Thank you
By the by, I love this site. |

These folks know more songs than you can shake a stick at, beware though, ye might find yerself comin back here often, if for no other reason than to rile some old goats up, or just to shoot the breeze. I keep waitin' for my walkin'papers but no one throws me out. Best o'luck, Tucker |
