Subject: LYRIC SEARCH If you're in my land with a gun From: Ewan McV (inactive) Date: 18 Apr 99 - 04:33 PM Looking on behalf of a pal for a lyric with the hook / chorus of : If you're in my land with a gun in your hand You ain't no friend of mine. Thought to be a 1980s song, about US nuclear subs in Scotland's Holy Loch, but maybe not. Thanks in advance for any help. Ewan McVicar

Subject: RE: LYRIC SEARCH If you're in my land with a gun From: Ewan McV Date: 03 May 99 - 05:30 PM Partly refreshing this thread, partly adding some more info. I'm seeking it on behalf of Glasgow songwriter Ian Davison, who is in turn seeking it for someone else. A suggestion has been made that it was recorded, and perhaps composed, by Dick Gaughin. Any Gaughan completists out there who can help? I'll also post this under Dick's name. Ewan McVicar |
