Below are the lyrics you wanted although I'm not totally sure that they're correct because I'm typing them from memory and I may have misheard in the first place. But here's a go at it.

Subject: Lyr Add: WILD WIND From: The Celtic Bard Date: 11 Apr 01 - 09:58 PM Sorry about that. I must have accidentally pushed the wrong button on my keyboard. Anyway, here it is. WILD WIND At the foot of the mountain Stands a high, high tree Its branches reach up to the sky And a red crested bird Leaves her nest in the leaves And from the tallest branch, she cries: CHORUS: O wild wind, won't you blow And carry me to my love? I know not where to go I'll spread my wings On your windy back I'll ride O wild wind, won't you blow? On the banks by the bay Where the mossy muscles lay And the castle on the hill meets the sky There a red-haired girl Fetches dinner from the sea And walking out the jutting rocks, she cries. CHORUS On the road by the wood There a simple cottage lies With thatch and painted windows inviting me to bide And the old widowed man within it With his pipe and twinkling eye While stoking up the embers there, he cries: CHORUS Well the cattle with their shepherd And the fishes in the deep They have no cause for sorrow, no love will trouble thee If I could be a blackbird In the tallest oaken tree There from its highest branch, I'd cry: CHORUS Hope that helped. Good luck. Rebecca |

Subject: RE: Lyrics - Wild wind (On Celtic Planet album) From: GUEST,#1 Date: 12 Apr 01 - 01:20 AM When did those tricky astronomers discover a Celtic planet? And what star does it spin around, or does it just flit around the edges of a black hole (the astronomy type of black hole, not the female humanoid type)?
