Subject: Lyr/Chords/Tune Add: STEAL AWAY (Coulter/Furey) From: Kernow John Date: 12 Mar 99 - 01:54 PM Alison Here's the words and chords, hope they are OK. It's not really written as a love song but as two people having got into trouble and now wanting to start afresh. It's one of those songs that when you start the whole place goes quiet and you suddenly realise that you are on your own and your audience is listening to every word and note in absolute silence!
STEAL AWAY
[G]Steal a[D]way, let's [D7]steal a[G]way,
We'll leave behind the city streets,
X: 1 Regards Baz |

Subject: RE: steal away From: Billy J Date: 04 Apr 99 - 08:03 AM It is a Fureys and Davy Arthur tape or CD called THE FUREYS FINEST CD no CLACD319. There are other groups do it but it is then a quicker tempo. We finger pick it with a low D whistle and a mondolin behind it and it comes out super. probably have the Tape of other artist but can not find it in a hurry, will look harded if you need it Billy J |
